    Default Iron or not?

I have a pre 1960 10/- note that was folded inside a ?bracelet to display the "on demand the sum of ten shillings" section.
As can be seen the folds are discoloured & fairly prominent.Question is do I leave as is or do I try & iron out the creases?

Well, just looking at your picture. I can see that it is creased, but I cannot tell if the creases have caused any damage to the note. Ironing it will not do away with the creases completely (as you know), but it may make it easier to see the condition if you did.
Of course..there is damage caused by the creases..just hard to tell how much.

The first one has less shadow on the creases and the second is really good. If you have decided not to iron, these photos are much better.

I wouldn't iron it if I was you, it will make your banknote feel thin and lifeless. Perhaps you should just build on what you have to start a collection????
