Gold/Yellow back $10 bill.Need help
Does anybody know anything about this $10 bill? I was told on another board that it was just faded but somehow,that just doesn't seem right.I'll admit I don't know anything about this field.It belongs to my Mom and she has had it for at least 30-35 years.She is hopeing it's worth some money.

i don't think dollar bill ink fades. nor do i think the mint would send out
misprinted currency.
check it with a counterfeit pen. collectors shouldn't mind, if it is real
the mark [just in corner or along edge] proves it.

looks like a misprint..like a base colour was used and a top colour is missing.
But i dunno tbh becouse im not a money boff.

Nice to see those old fashioned bills again eh? Now they seem to change all the time, big picture, different colors, etc.
I have occasionally seen that funny color on the back on other bills years ago. Wonder if heat or something can change color of bill. Ironing it maybe (if it went thru the wash?).

I think that is the reverse of the same note.
If washed it would affect both sides, same with ironing.
OP needs to talk to som1 who knows about ink and printing.
My line of thinking was that laying 2 different coloured inks on top of each other would create another colour, so the orange colour could be a bas colour.
But i dont know tbh lol.
