Can you answer the question regards posting auctions on other peoples accounts. I feel really uneasy at the moment as I can see 2 years of work going down the drain and if that happens they will not be brought back

Pretty bad for admin to miss this, I feel a holiday notice coming on to protect listings.

Mistakes are made but that is a pretty fundamental one...



I wouldn't worry about setting a holiday notice though as long as the lister is taken offline. There's no/not much account validation using the lister which obviously needs to be sorted but outside of that eBid is pretty secure IMO.

Everything was taken offline a while ago, nothing will be processed. Feel free to keep testing but no uploads will work at all until the new version.

Thats my point, and now in the bulk upload it says that 9.1 is here but only available from Monday

As long as there are auctions within the set it should not be removed. You are saying there was auctions within a set and it was removed?

OK verified:

If you: Duplicate Auction Set , and DO NOT modify or edit anything , and/or create a new auction set , but don't add an item , it does NOT save ..

If you: Create new set and then create a listing in it , and then duplicate any of the sets, (3 sets in total) then it DOES save all 3 sets (even if you didn't modify the duplicated set) so it appears if you create your sets and then create listings in them, you're just fine.. so far in my testing.

However, it would be nice to be able to create a set (for organization) and even if it you dont have any listings yet, Still be able to have them saved when you exit.

Secondly (probably goes to suggestions) - Would be nice if you can set up some "preset" settings for your listings (HOWEVER, this can be done with a little creativity - if you create a listing with your settings and save it as TEMPLATE title you can then just open that and make a copy of it to start a new listing, I think .. untested as yet ... but I suspect this would work nicely..)
