Can't post to 2nd store

I am trying to post auctions to my 2nd store, but when I go to indicate store category all I get for a choice is my first store category. When I go to sell, I don't see a choice for what store, therefore I assume that's why I can't get the right category. I'm a newbie, so please excuse if a stupid question. In fact, after further search, I can't even open this store. It defaults to the 1st store, which is online.

A store must be selected online for it to appear as an available store into which to place items.

Edit the store, set it online amd click the Update Section 2 button.
