Need for US Food Items Store?

I am in the US so there are alot of members who are overseas from me. I was wondering if there is a need for a store with US food items etc. I would be willing to look for special requests from members in addition to the items I would stock without request.

I think the US has shipped its delicious Twinkies, Hohos, Dr. Pepper, Hershey's, Pringles, Oreos, etc, all over the world already. Would be a rare country that did not have a pretty wide selection. But I could be wrong.

In the UK I am yet to see Twinkies, Hershey's, Hohos and quite a few more american snacks/sweets. We do have quite a few of them.

You could sell lucky charms, they go for quite a hefty price on other market place sites. I think France has them but the UK does not.

Think I have seen at least two of those in ALDI. Pretty sure I tried a couple of varieties of the Hershey bars once and was not impressed enough to go back for more.

As for the OP. I think there are commercial firms in most countries that cater to supplying ex-pats with home comforts. Likely they could buy in and ship a lot cheaper than you could and may be already well established. I would try searching the net to see what you might be up against.

That said, if you are only interested in a small way then no harm in trying. If it is stuff you can get readily in your local store then there is no need to even hold stock. When you get an order you just nip out and buy it. It costs nothing here to just offer an item for sale.
