Calgary Stampede Dollar

Many years ago my Canadian aunt gave me some coins - one is a Calgary Stampede Dollar with a man (can't make out his name - my eyesight is not that good) sitting holding his horse's reins. Back says Salute to Aviation - Silver Dart (and then possibly I think) -1909 - Value £1.00 in Calagary - Expires August 31, 1974.

Is this a coin? Or was it something given away at one of the Stampedes? Just curious. Thanks.

It is a token for the event. There doesn't seem to be much interest in collecting them.

Thanks - I don't collect coins- this has been hanging about in a drawer for years - they possibly attended a Stampede at some time
