    I would like to say thank you to ebid support staff

    a while ago I had a question and after 2 hours and 18 minutes I had a definitive reply.
    today I asked to change my username and in less than an hour it was done.

    it is a bit of a change from another place where you just get a stock answer that bears no relation to the message you sent and the combined IQ of thier support staff worldwide is still in single figures

    They have obviously improved from the days I sold over there where combined IQ was ......................... ZERO

    well they may have quadrupled their staff but I think the total is still no greater than 1 and that is if you round it up to the nearest whole number

    Communication between depts is problem over there. No one knows much, never heard of ongoing problems etc. And of course any problem was our fault.

    We joke ebid's whole staff is just da boyz because the team (obviously more than 2) works so well together and solves problems like OP's so fast. Has to be two very organized boys or a whole company full of them. And we don't get blamed for the problem. How great is that?

    it would take longer than that on the other place, and the responce you would get is how safe paypal is to use or how by offereing paypal you will get 35% more for your item.
    or how UK banks are dodgy and we must not use them.
    or how the ONLY SAFE WAY TO BUY ANYTHING including petrol for your car is via ebay as your local supermarket will rip you off and take all the money from your bank account to nigeria unless you buy all you fresh fruit and veg via ebay and paypal.

    ( and of course paypal uk is no longer based here as they could not keep to the rules of the FSA so now any problems you have you have to deal with it via other countries courts when PP take your money )

    Only 6 hours to resolve your problem? I'd give eBid a gold medal for that. I hope any problems you run into on eBay are solved a lot quicker for your needs (I doubt it). I read all your posts about art theft on here by a certain member in the hope to get your problem resolved much quicker than the short 6 hours it took and my senses tell me you are a very impatient person. I would think twice about dealing with you.

    Like you said, nothing that I or anyone will say to you can change how you felt about your dealings on eBid. At least your problem was dealt with swiftly (IMHO) by real human beings and not by canned responses (over there).
