Isn't it funny how things work? If Gramma hadn't replied for you, I'd have had to wait, and the "next American who buys a cup" would have been somebody completely different!

You're quite welcome, and oh what the heck, I'll extend mine through the 31st also.

In retrospect I have decided to extend my AUCTIONS FOR HAITI through the 31st of January so in order to make it official:

I have 325 auctions running and will donate all of them for AUCTIONS FOR HAITIAN RELIEF over the remaining month. My Donations will go to The American Red Cross/Haiti Relief and Development Fund

At least your book was easy to find Only took 6 boxes, all packed and will be with RM in the morning, I have triple+ packed the thimbles, when unwrapping the last bit there is 1 piece of tape around centre and 1 piece each cylinder end. (it will make sense when you get them)

i always get "scared" when packing very fragile items and have only had 1 item break, and 1 item is 1 too many.

I just guessed right with weight too, 993 grams, just under the 2nd class limit

With fragile items I always go by the rule that if you can still feel the item through the bubble wrap then it isn't safe ! Also make sure there is no room for it to move inside the box and that seems to work.

I haven't had anything broken in the five years I've been selling and that's posting to all parts of the world....... I should add touch wood !
