I like purple, orange is my favourite colour, and the two together is glorious - when I have a garden I always plant purple & orange together, they're highly complimentary colours. Blue's okay, aqua's good. Stereotypes are boring.

    Default new e-bid

I'm sure there will be glitches to sort out - but personally I thought it seemed really good - much easier to see whats goign on - especially for anyone unfamiliar with the site - and to me everything seems easy to use so far - looked much more 2010 than the last version

I agree with others who have commented on this - that Closing Auctions box is EVERYWHERE! I do not want to see it in My eBid, when I'm selling, or when I'm looking up things in the help pages. It simply has no place being there in my opinion.

The big Buy on eBid and Sell on eBid text on the home page is screaming out to be made into links (just a highlight in the same colour should do the trick), and should take you directly to category listings that the Buy and Sell text links at the top do.

I do not like the underline hover effect on the Buy Sell Stores My eBid links across the top, I feel that it just doesn't work for large text. We know they are buttons as the mouse pointer changes as we move it over them. Perhaps a glow effect would work better here (matching the effect on the new logo, maybe in purple though) or the tab pops up a bit instead.

I think I've said it before elsewhere, but giving people a choice of colour schemes sounds like a smart move to me. The style would remain the same, just the text would be different colours and a new set of alternatively coloured graphics used. Just switch the stylesheet and set a cookie to remember the setting. Something to consider for a future update perhaps?

In the line Currently 2,691,696 auctions running in 9691 categories., "categories" could be a link to the main categories list.

The Advanced Search text link is too small, I think it should be a bit larger and more obvious.

I agree about the lack of contrast on the grey links at the bottom. How about a much lighter shade of grey for the text? Almost white, even.

Some are personal niggles that others will disagree with, I'm sure, but that's my two pennies' worth for the moment.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but may have missed it. When sending an invoice there doesn't seem to be an option button for sending a copy to myself. The invoice I did send out was not emailed to me as well, but I'm not sure it reached the buyer either.... would like to get a copy just to know it's gone out. Thanks.
