I've been given this set of pure gold coins to sell....& I can't find any more to research

Most likely a Private Minting(France or Western Samoa).. for the Movie remake of Mutiny on The Bounty or was it an opinion remake.. story.
You have to figure out the value of the gold in those coins-medals.. then increase the offering price by about 25% opening bid.. this is guessing on my part.. keep researching... I could not find anything specific about them.

So many so-called coins(really are medals)are and have been made by Private Minting Companies.. with rah rah advertising, then 15 Years later... you can hardly find any info about the item.. buyers beware always on items like that when ""first offered"" for sale, unless you like souvenirs/keepsakes.

I would go straight to an auction house. I would imagine that the money they could fetch would be too risky by post.
