    Question Crochet/Knitting pattern sellers

I'm looking for a pattern for the type of item that dancers wear if they have their hair in a bun. I can't for the life of me remember what they are called but it's like a hat for a bun!

    Can anyone help?

Is it a scrunchie? I have a crochet pattern which I will list later today.
Or are you thinking of the kind of net?

If it is a bun it would be more like a net to keep it tidy

You've got it in one meebo - a net to keep it tidy.

I think it is called a snood, and they come in all shapes and sizes. There are 2 free for the downloading on the internet, but I think they are on the vague side as far as directions go.

Look for the 1940s pattern books. Those were big then and I remember seeing lots of patterns for them in accessory/hat/purse books.

It's not urgent meebo - just don't want a complicated pattern. Something simple.

I'll check them out wy but from the sound of it they aren't what I'm looking for. Think of a round crocheted disc about 5 inches in diameter which has then had elastic put round it to pull it in to make a cap.
