People trying to promote by e-mail need to comply with this legislation as well as with the Data Protection legislation.

Any email addresses supplied to me by buyers were supplied for the sole purpose of completing a sale. As I never sought and got permission at the time to use that information to contact them on unrelated matters in the future I feel using it to now send them unsolicited emails would be totally wrong.

They were good enough to buy from me, so I would not do a mass email drop out of decency and respect for them.
If they signed up to receive my notificitions then fair enough.
Otherwise, I wouldnt consider it.

I get annoyed when other sellers do it to me, and always send a polite reply asking them to cease.
