I think it's not a very good idea for big site changes just before Christmas.If there are any hang ups or gliches it will impact badly on what should be a busy time for sellers and buyers.
Perhaps ebid were a bit previous with their announcement but I'd rateher have a delay and a site that works from the off than one that splutters and stops and causes problems.
I find the ebid site a bit old fashioned and cluttered but its also distinctive and I don't think buyers are put off by it.
I look at the items sold/costs incurred equation and still think that ebid is a viable alternative for sellers and buyers.Maybe its slower,old fashioned and 'clunky' but its cheap,friendly and well worth carrying on with.
