I hope there are no changes....Ebid needs to make money too....I like not having to pay anything except 2% when my items sell. I'm glad I went for the half price deal....Of course, I'm am just a hobby seller.

I agree regarding the mass discontent over the enforced P&P greed based ebay policies and think ebid could capitalise on this in advertising.

It is soooooo cheap now here.... I am sure if we had 20% more buyers, sellers would get the word.
Powersellers do NOT need a discount from the low cost here presently.

Agree, I could be a bronze seller over at fee-bay but rejected it, I dont like any corporation dictating how much I sell or don't sell. What makes me a bit mad is the fact that power sellers get top billing and others get the boot.

I recently turned down power seller as I said, Auction sites need to treat every seller the same, no matter how much they sell, but alas greed is part of the equation. Why should Joe Smo get a sellers discount just because they list more. e-bid for now is much much fairer.JMO.

I recently deserted the pirate ship aswell

For me it was not just the postage rules that made things overly difficult at Feebay, i would quite happily encorperate postage costs into the start price. The problem for me was the rolling blackouts(area sales patterns),continuos relist fees(which is why some think there are rolling blackouts), a doubling of FVF in a very short space of time, Top rated sellers(when most are cheating anyway) and the best match search, not to mention the confusion that the FREE postage rules have created with some people playing by the rules and others quite clearly not.

That place has got so messy i just couldnt stand it any more.
I think the FREE postage was just the straw that broke many peoples backs but the other probs pushed them to the edge all the same.

I agree. Hard to have confidence in a company that does not acknowledge when there is a system malfunction/glitch and instead blames the users, has new policies that conflict with older ones, does not apply rules fairly, etc etc etc.

And someday I think we will find out that those famous bidding wars were manipulated, which is not only illegal in all states, but unfair to the buyers (great for feebay and sellers).

My friends who are still there are either too afraid to list anything, or list and walk on eggs when they do sell items. No a seller friendly atmosphere.

I agree 100% with #64 - I'm so glad that there is no such thing as Powersellers on here (Thank goodness) everyone starts from the same base and it's usually up to them to work out their marketing strategies - no favouritism or stupid conditions are imposed by eBid!
