Jackie Leven was in a late seventies early eighties band called Doll by Doll that made a few albums for Magnet Records also several singles. The albums eventually surfaced on CD last year!!

His solo stuff is (I Think) is bloody marvelous, he gets classed as folk/rock which loosely covers it.

If you've got spotify go on there an have a listen to anything that's there. Not on bad album so far & i've got 24.

If nothing on spotify go to his own website, there is usually a track or two available to listen to.

Tom Russell is the greatest living American songwriter in the fine tradition of story tellers, been recorded by Johnny Cash, Nancy Griffith and many many more.
