Default Not really a news article but just thought it was funny

    eBid
My favorite non-Ebay e-commerce site is the fast-growing eBid for a couple of simple reasons. First, and most importantly, my stuff has sold well there even though it is still a much smaller marketplace than Ebay. But it’s growth quarter over quarter has been phenomenal.

The other reason why Ebid rules is that they do not have any listing fees so your costs will be lower. Some sellers use the lower costs to offer buyers better deals, but most simply pocket the difference and improve their margins. In fact, some people that I know use both eBid and eBay for simultaneous listings and to great effect. But, back to the listings.

On eBid you have the option to enroll to their basic or premium seller structure. As a basic seller you are charged 3% of the selling price per item. As a premium seller you can buy access to the site in chunks for a time. You simply pre-purchase access for a week or a month and can list and sell items during that period. It’s a hassle free way to do business and works for both volume sellers (who work as premium sellers) and smaller sellers (who operate under the basic plan).

But, clearly, the best thing about eBid is that there are not any listing fees. This is huge if you want to test out a market or have some items that you aren’t sure will sell. For this reason, eBid is my number one Ebay alternative.

URL dumped, due to misinformation, and none posting of the comments, which would correct that.

It does show these people must be worried about the real ebay alternative.

Just thought it funny they do not mention the lifetime membership.

I have seen this oversight before, don't mention all the options. Usually they leave out the seller+ and the free stores which are pretty important options.

Any way to leave a comment to correct the above?

I left my comment on there yesterday detailing all the free options we get with seller+ lifetime accounts. As of yet, it's not showing so I think it's duff site just advertising the big kahuna.

He should be handing out advice on SEO with that ability.

And looking at the back links it is even more intriguing

It is funny reading the info on those links, as it is like looking back in time, and how it used to be, as if the people writing the articles were stuck in some time warp of about three or four years back. Either unable or too afraid to face the changes that have come to pass.

But even though the venue has changed to ebid.net, some of you may find some of the info on buying stock useful. It may be useful to inspect some of them, try out a few of the suggested methods, and then write a more up to date review of the methods.

It maybe interesting to see if some of the buying stock methods cross borders, and if there are ways to use them in countries other than where they were written.

Really is funny now, as most of the back link checkers have stopped working on that web address.
