Pink Friday charity auctions - official kick-off
Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
As you will be aware, Smiffy & Herbi have the reins of our BCC Pink Fridays auctions, which start officially on this fine day. We know that Smiffy's on hols, so Herbi was due to do the official kick-off. Unfortunately a poorly placed leak has put her pooter somewhat out of play - so while she's off getting herself some new kit and recovering her aplomb, she's asked that I do the offiical launch.
So here it is...
PINK FRIDAYS ARE GO!!!
Pink Fridays starts today, and lasts for the whole of October. You are cordially invited to take part, either to sell, buy or bellow encouragement.

Herbi should be back up and running in time to sort the pennies out, so payments are still either via Smiffy's Just Giving page, or PayPal gift to Herbi - not to me, please? Thanks!
Now a word about pimping...
Naturally, I would love you to pimp as much as possible, so please use your own pimping thread "allowance" for Pink Fridays if you can. As far as a dedicated pimp thread is concerned... nobody's told me if this has been arranged, so it suddenly occurred to me last night I'd better check! Thus far, no response from eBid (I only asked very late on, so I'm not surprised) so please - no pimping outside your own threads at the moment, we don't want to break any rules or cause any ill-feeling. If I get the go ahead from ebid for a special PF pimp thread I'll let you know and get one launched.
Don't forget you can tailor your sigs to say what you like for the duration.And any amount of discussing, encouraging etc in the fund-raising forum should be fine - that's what it's for!
