Default YDC Charity Auctions mentioned in Sept newsletter

    Site News & Updates
    • 2,633,483 Live Auctions RECORD
    • 9,700 Categories RECORD
    • 9,474 eBid Stores Live RECORD

Welcome to our September newsletter. Similar to last month, the days have simply flown by. As you can see from the figures above it's been an excellent month, our auction numbers are UP and eBid Store numbers are UP, both at all time highs. We should be celebrating our 10,000th eBid Store opening pretty soon.

We can also report great sales growth as well with September seeing record number of sales in a day for both the US and UK markets. Thanks to everyone.

We can report the building of the new site is in it's final stages, testing has been ongoing for over two weeks now. You will notice a lot of difference with the new look but functionality shouldn't be too different, just improved in most places. We have a date we are working to but won't make it public until we are 100% definite.

If you didn't already know, a pretty fanatical group of eBidders run charity auctions for an excellent cause on a regular basis. They are called YDC auctions, if you get a chance pay a visit to our YDC Category and slip in a bid or two if you find anything you fancy. There's even some eBid goodies to be had.

Got any Buddy Points spare? Don't forget to check out the latest Buddy Auctions, there's currently an XBox 360 and other goodies up for auction. The current bid is [Buddy Points]82. Login and visit the My eBid section to check our your current Buddy Point balance to see if you have enough to bid.

    Tip of the Month

If you previously opted out of eBid uploading your items to Google Base/Shopping because you managed it yourself, you will need to opt back in on your "My Defaults" page before 1st December as Google will no longer accept uploads from you for your eBid items after this date.

    Category Browse
eBid has nearly 10,000 categories to buy and sell in, here's a few to wet your whistle.

From WebstersNew World Dictionary - fanatical adj. of a temple, hence enthusiastic, inspired unreasonably enthusiastic; overly zealous.

I do think "enthusiastic" would have been a more tactful way of putting it.
