Whatever suits you Babs is ok with me. Hopefully they will turn up and put poor Sylvia's mind at rest, but if they don't, no matter. The main thing is she settles in her new home without any more worries.

Exactly - I can understand how she feels, cos I'd be the same and would feel as if I've let people down etc etc. But we know it wasn't Sylvia's fault - it was regrettably circumstances beyond her control so to speak, and no matter how much beating about, and how many tears isn't going to make the company find the boxes any faster. They will come to light I'm sure - its just a matter of waiting.

I'll put your id on it, and drop you a pic so you can see the new square. I'll send it on to Syl when I send this batch (have some listed in the YDC so they'll all be going together).

So a few squares go missing (which was not your fault) chin up aye, read these replys and give us a smile after all, these are just bits of material, they can be replaced, am sure there are much worse things going on elsewhere, and yes i understand why you felt like you did, but hey what is done is done.

Pssst dont be sad be mad, phone them up and tell the they can do a donation to the quilt lol

Don't panic you two! All is not lost the bead cat one isn't missing, you never had it Syl !!! I won it from Meebo and it is in the post along with my own square. So that's one less to worry about !

LOL - Well let's hope the post office don't go and misplace them now ! I did send them 1st class recorded and see they haven't been delivered yet so they are probably stuck in the strike backlog of stuff !

I remembered that one particularly due to my brother being one of the firefighters......but I have more than one here....will hunt them out today.

Now I am beginning to think...did I really have them? Perhaps I just think I did and they are not actually 'missing'

This is doing my head in, cos I am convinced I had recieved the cross stitched one from Shelly welly, and the mosiac tiles one...

perhaps I am searching for non existent squares....

perhaps they never were/are in the missing boxes...and I've cried buckets for nothing...
