Is this "Rule Reminder" the final, absolute, without question, definitive say on the matter of 'plug threads'?

I'm confused as things change so quickly around here

There used to be an unwritten rule that people could plug any items they had for sale every day without deleting old threads providing the previous plug had dropped off the first page.

Unfortunately some people took this as carte blanche to plug their items every 30 mins or so which spoilt it for everyone else.


I have approx. 10 plug threads spanning back across 3 years so I guess I'm about to get banned then...?

I don't remember where or when I first saw anything official about the number of plugs we could have.

I only know that the unwritten rules were not the same as the official version.

The 'only one thread running...ever' rule would mean we would only be having threads from different sellers on the 1st page anyway...so I don't see a need for unwritten rules.

I'm still finding old plugs of mine...so I will go back and delete any more I find.

I don't think he anticipated it being bumped at all, or would wish it. I suspect if he ever sees it, he'll dump the thread and make a new one which he'll close to us hoi polloi.
