I thought it might help the US members in deciding when to start their YDC auctions by referring to the USA time zone chart below:

Just had confirmation from TexasAda that she is also nominating NSPCC for the USA - Thank you very much for that. I'm sure our Yorkiesauctions will be chuffed that you're supporting his charity for the walk that he is doing in a few weeks.

    I'm dead chuffed lass.

Folk have been so good and so supportive about the walk and this is the icing on the cake.

I originally set myself a target to raise £250, because that is roughly what it has cost me to do the challenge walk and I figured that if I didn't at least raise that amount then I would have been better just donating the money myself and not doing the walk. But I passed that amount so then I mentally set myself a new target of £500, well I have passed that too so now I've set myself another mental target, this time it is £1000.

My preparation for this challenge has been all about targets, I set myself realistic but difficult targets (both in fund raising and in times for various walks and in distances to achieve). So far I have hit each target that I set myself and this gives me the encouragement I need to keep me improving. So far it has worked very well.

So this months YDC has not only made my new target more achievable but it has given me a bit of a boost too and will help me with my training. So I thank you all for your brilliant support and your fantastic words of encouragement, it really has, and is, made this experience so much more enjoyable, thank you folks.

I'm very excited about this months YDC, can you tell? lol

Cheers me dears, yer a good bunch.

I've just noticed that I used the word mental a lot in the previous post.

I'm sure there's a subconscious reason for it but I can't think what it might be?
