    hi all it has been my understanding 100 years -antque. vintage 50 years veteran 50+ in cars . collectables any age they would depend on avalability & desirability.

    "Collectible or collectable is even more ambiguous since there are people that collect almost everything under the sun. I usually figure a collectible as something that some collects to display or keep without a utilitarian use."

    How would you list an item that is not new but has, for instance, been unopened in it's original box for 20 years? I have a Capo de Monte 1974 Christmas plate that has only been out of the box for photo purposes. It's not "new" but certainly not "used"

    As for Collectibles, i.e. something that generally collects dust.

    I listed a mug that was made in the year 2000 and the word "Collectible" imprinted on its bottom. So I guess it's collectible officially. (sorta like Legally Blonde LOL). It's made by Westwood.
