I've just had a nosey on the Facebook page for the walk (dunno if you'll be able to view the link or not?) I'm doing and going by the members who have confirmed that they're doing the challenge I think I'm going to be oldest person there.

The average age on the Facebook page seems to be around 20 something. It's gonna feel like I'm on a sponsored babysitting instead of a walk.

I'll be doing one 10 mile walk tomorrow and one 8 mile walk on Wednesday and that will be the end of my training.

On Thursday I'll be packing what I need into my backpack (except food and drinks) and buying in some pasta (to eat on Friday) and bananas (for on the walk) and four bottles of Powerade (to drink on the walk).

I think I am all set to go. I'll be glad when it's this time next week though.

lol, yeah all sorted. I just need to check the listings now to see if anyone is selling a couple pack mules.

Off to work now, gonna walk there and back and have to call at a mates, so it'll be a 10 or 12 miles round trip. It's chuffin raining here this morning too.
