To Keep the ebid logo on my van I am going to have to completely rebrand myself, grren and purple will clash with the rest of the decor.
Glad I didnt get a red van

I am not so worried about the colour change, as long as the name stays the same.

What is also important to me is whether the site redesign will be clean, simple and tidy. I have always found ebid's pages cluttered and not laid out very well.

Getting back to the logo colour change - the real question is:

Will Tiscali's DNS be able to handle it?

For the most part re-branding is a constant in business. Name changes are entirely different and it doesn't seem, as though eBid is changing the name.

I think the green catches the eye. The white hammer on the light purple background does not. The green catches the eye and makes the hammer logo blend away. I think the purple needs to be darker to compliment what the eye catches.

Yes, I know I'm new and I don't have a lot invested in the current logo and I can understand how frustrating it is. Have you read who moved my cheese?

*you know who has changed the color and font of their logo many times.
I have new listings! Check them out!

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.
Fed up with paying to sell?

Not that it is my decision to make, but, maybe make the hammer purple and the background white or make the hammer black and the background white. Both of those would look good with the green and catch the eye.

Yes they have and I certainly don't think they cared what the posters in the forums thought either. LMAO

Well, as a user, I would rather the effort put into re-branding was put into making those things that don't work...work.

As I said before, unless I've missed something we haven't seen the official version yet - just ebidder's mock-ups, so we have no idea of the shades, depth, brightness blah blah of the real McCoy.

Yes...but rumour is usually so much more interesting than fact.
