I am so sorry. I didn't realize i had to pick a charity until a few minutes ago when I got a couple private messages. I will right now start investigating a charity.

    YES! [lightning bolt emoticon]

    How about

    Leader Dogs for the Blind
in Rochester Hills, Michigan. They provide helper dogs for the visually impaired, training, and even transportation to and from their school. I visited their facility several decades ago and was very favorably impressed. They have been recognized as a Best Charity in America.

    'Atta girl, Ada

When I was in 4-H I trained a guide dog puppy, a little yellow Lab named Jansi. She went on to help a woman from Michigan, and elementary school teacher who had cataract operations on both eyes in one session, and the surgeon made the same mistake in both eyes. I've had other friends who have service animals, and the difference it makes for them is remarkable.
