I have an original cast-iron bath but am not sure which category to sell in. It's white enamel with original fittings and claw feet. Any ideas for a category?

Probably best under Antiques > Architectural Antiques. Closest sub-cat would appear to be Hardware and Home.
I was thinking the same it's either that or Homes and gardens > Bathrooms but that seems too nice to be with the other baths in there!
Out of intrest whats the middle tap for?

It is a nice old bath, very rustic!
And yes it does weigh an absolute ton, we heaved it up the stairs; I think for going down we could just put two planks of wood on the stairs and toboggan it down! Weeeeee!!

That's a really good bath. What are the legs like? How much do you want for it?
Architectural antiques, no question. Traffic is pretty good considering time of year, economic climate etc. (£30 and £50 sales this last week).
When listing it, I would suggest that you include the following
a) a close up view of what looks like the enamel has come away on the left of the picture.
b) You show a picture of the feet both sides
c) You start it at £50+ to get interest
d) Show the tap condition and make if possible
Also don't sell the plunger bit seperate as you will then struggle to sell the bath it's self.
If all else fails, weigh it in as scrap after taking the taps and plunger off

Agree but I would also put it under Antiques AND Home & Garden. Two categories, it is well worth the 5 cents. The people looking for an old tub see it in antiques, those who just don't know they are looking for a classy older tub will see it too amongst the new ones. Doubles your viewers.
Yea, show the damage, any chips, closeup of where you would look if you were seeing it for the first time. Sideview of legs, close view of legs, long view of taps, short view of taps. A side view is important, from the picture I am not sure what it would look like (square, rounded outside?).
Add if it is pure white, soft white, or cream colored. Is there a manufacturer's name on it and the taps? That might be important too.
Excellent tub. Good luck.
