Category name change from Christian to Religious

As far as I am aware Urdu is a language not a religion.

The broader the categories and subcategories the better in my opinion. "Religous" rather than Christian, Jewish, Muslem, etc. Otherwise we end up with Christian,with sub cats of Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, etc. Where does it end?

Look at the size of the group we are thinking of cutting apart like a pizza. Do we have 100,000 items or 1000? If we got only 1000, please do not divide that pizza into 1000 pieces.

There is no right or wrong way to divide things into categories. i.e. Big box store Barnes and Noble has all the Welsh choir music under World Music Celtic, when it is actually religious music. if we were to split hairs (when 50 Welshmen are singing Nearer my God to Thee, that is a religious CD).

Best Buy stores has another system, lists it under an International category, under Welsh. They have a separate religious section but only put the US bands in there. Some UK groups are listed under band's name in the popular music section, not International.

I say keeping it simple with few categories and sub categories is less confusing for everyone. If I need the Welsh choirs, I can search for them, I don't need to find the Welsh choir sub sub category to do that.

Religious & Spiritural (however you spell it)
Doesent need to be sub categoriesed at all.

There isnt Football category's like Arsenal, tottenham, bristal, hull, bath, chealsea. Its just football.
And them people are proberly just as religious to there team as you are to your faiths.

I really hate the term "religious"... How much music from other faiths is listed?

Putting Christian music under such a heading as "religious and spiritual" would offend me, for a start (other faiths do offended, so I'm starting to do so as well)

You could be right, I am not that clued up on languages or religions, however the music is not what would class as "christian" hence why it was one of the reasons I suggested the name change.

I admire you for trying to keep everyone happy, but im past the point of caring for such selfish nonsense. If your doing this, that persons unhappy. If your doing that, this persons unhappy.

Comon, i know its like a faith or whatever but get real, people that get offended by it, im sorry should kinda get over it. Boring.

We are split enough in this world
Religious and Spiritual, or Faith and Spiritual
Works fine for me who just happens to be a Christian
The only one in a non religious family
Also feel that additional sub categories on a site this size would be unnecessary
simply adding to the feeling of division amongst all the faiths

I much prefer Faith & Spiritual to Religious. However, I still want to know how many items there are which are non-Christian to go in this place. To be practical, it might be better to split as Christian and Other if there are very few.
