I am thinking the reason I couldn' get it to work for me, was one of two things. Perhaps because your account is a business account, or for some reason they have about 8 different addresses on my account. I did have a balance and I was taking it out of my balance. I'm going to try and get rid of some of those addresses, I don't know where they came up with so many, although they are all mine. Just variations on the theme.

I think i've successfully sent a GIFT to somebody through PPal (can't remember to whom), but lately PP has been harassing me about being confirmed. I have been confirmed many years, having given them my bank account number. They started asking me for a street address lately. I use a PO Box address rather than a street address and am not about to give them a street address at this point.

Also, I ALWAYS use an existing PP balance to pay people, as opposed to charging it to a credit card. I do not want to give PP access to my bank account or credit card.

Basically I think PP has just slipped a cog and I hope they will regain their way soon.

I went ahead and made the donation to cover both myself and Youmeus, directly to the American Cancer Society. Here is the verification, full of messy blue scribbles but otherwise authentic:



And you know, I still am unable to send you the money Jan, despite the fact that PooPal say both my business and personal accounts are set up correctly. Here is a snippet of their response to my first service ticket, got the same response when I asked about the business account.



As they say, it is "weird" indeed.

I know last night I offered to send you a check or money order for my donation, but as it looks like we Midwesterners are already holding things up, I decided to just donate directly to the ACS and have done with it.
