I have just sent payment via gift through PP with no problems. The amount did come out of my PP balance, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not compared to trying to pay with CC.

It does make a difference. If there is no money in Ppal then the sender pays a fee

For USA'ers
So if we want to send a payment (gift option) we need to have a balance in our PP for it to work.

It won't work trying to pay with CC because they keep asking to add addresses and CC details to be confirmed even though PP members have been confirmed with addresses and CC details etc for a long time.

Is that correct meebo?
