Yeah we are. It's mazing how many folk don't appreciate what they have though. I have a mate who phones me at the weekend with the same moan, "What a rubbish weekend, I've been bored out of my tree. Nowt to do, just been sat at the computer or watching tv all the time."

My usual reply to him is, "Look out of the window you muppet!...now get off your arse and grab your camera and go do summat." (cos I'm diplomatic like that)

Some folk just don't appreciate things.

He bought a camera last year for over £400 and has hardly used it, I paid under £100 for mine and it's rarely more than a few feet away from me. lol

Whitby- land of my ancestors and yes absolutely beautiful as is cornwall- beautiful that is. I shouldnt moan though with the rolling hills of Shropshire.I do agree witht he OP we all have a facination for the sea.

You are all probably tired of my farm mind set, but this one stirs me heart.

Great picture and the country is full of combines now getting the wheat harvested.

It is wonderful to live in the country. Most of these pictures show us how peaceful and beautiful the world can be.

I've always thought I'd like to visit England, even decided if I couldn' live in the US, it would be a good alternative. Now, I know I want to see more.
