Tiscali - anybody in? - giving up

eBid still not available via Tiscali + I've had 2 posts removed now on the Tiscali Forums about this Also Google Checkout are sending me "Attention required: order notification failing" emailsstating:"We've made several unsuccessful attempts to send order notifications to your notification callback URL, https://secure.ebid.net/perl/googlecheckout_in.cgi As a result, you aren't receiving order status, risk or other notifications."

Anyone still having problems with their DNS have serious issues with their ISP. A simple permanent or temporary solution depending on how you feel is to follow this guide.

I recommend you do. My experiences with Tiscali is that they are slow to take anyone seriously, and you really need to keep at them.

The second link is on a support forum - reading between the lines, they get things done a little quicker than phone calls to India, but you need to push them. It also saves on an expensive phone call which is scripted to keep you on the call for as long as possible.

Still Down, on the tiscali forum they said they would have more info yesterday, Nothing

There are ways around this but you should not have to after this amount of time

Dave, I agree with you totally, but making the change to opendns takes about 1 minute and let's you get on with things. We did it when Sky were slow to update, then just changed it back when all was OK again.
