I feel for you people. That is totally unacceptable. Do you know there is devices available like this nowadays? They work anywhere you have cell phone coverage. They plug into a usb port and that's all you need. No router, cables or anything else. The modem is built right inside. If I had your problems I'ld be giving your ISP provider the boot and looking at something else. For instance I have one I bought through telus but it works on northwestel as well. There is some available now that you can use on just about anyone's cell phone coverage in the world. I'm going through a wireless N router at the moment, but it's nice to have backup. Check the rates and what they allow you for data transfer though. Some carriers charge more than others.
