Thread: Finally setting up!

    Default Finally setting up!

    Hello Ebid Members,

I am not new to the online scene, I was an 'original' on eBay setting up near the beginning. But here I am now a NEW meber on Ebid.

I have a few stores set and slowly have been listing items. my main areas of products are 45rpm vinyl records - Collectable Trasing Cards (Magic the Gathering) - Books, Games and Music.

I have almost 1,000 listings uploaded over the last couple of weeks and more to come.

I am not sure how things run here but I decided to get my feet wet and also just to say hello

    Hi, neighbor! Welcome to eBid.

There's a learning curve, of course, things don't work the same here. But, if you have any problems, don't waste time fighting them. Get to the forums and ask for help. The people here are really great. Obviously you've worked out a few things if you have that many auctions running . . .

Hi there and welcome to ebid subjazz, you will find it is more friendly here at ebid, plenty of help on the forums. When you have the time add a signiture and we can take a peek at what you are selling, also I found it helped when I filled in my abvout me page. Buyers tend to be more trusting if they know a bit about you. Good luck and I hope you have lots of sales.

    Hi and welcome to ebid!

Check out the past forums and you will find about 20 tips for selling which will get you up and running faster. With the economy so sluggish, any little bit helps.

I found that lower priced items sell a bit better than the high end ones, but put those on too. It will take longer but they sell too. People watch an item longer here and usually like to buy it now or will bid on it with little opposition. No bidding wars here so it is better to have a reasonable starting bid and item will usually go for that price. Keep shipping reasonable too, I ship 2nd items free which gets most buyers buying a few things. You can run sales on your banner, they always draws a bit of attention to your things too.

    Good luck!
