Storage (horror stories)

As things seem to be getting a bit tense at the moment I thought i would lighten the mood a little and give you an insight into the world of storage, namely the things people leave behind.

Part of my job (In storage) is to clear out people's unit if they dont pay us and we lose contact, this is then sold to cover thier bill. So here i are few things i have found over the years and a few things to bear in mind if you ver do go into storage.

a year old egg sandwich ( Nearly made me lose my lunch)
Adult toys ( The current record is 7 in one unit)
Photo's (the kind you would NOT get developed in Boots)
Laminated erotic pictures (i dread to think why they needed to be laminated)

So then what strange things have you turned up at work?

On a similar note, the TV prog with Mary Portas that I watched last night showed some shocking images of what people "donate to" (read: dump on) charity shops. Used underwear and nappies were the yukkiest, muddy rugger boots the oddest. Why people don't just throw this crud away I can't imagine!
