    Post New seller seeking information

    Hello all,

I have a few questions I would like to pose to the more experienced sellers here. In no particular order, here they are.

    1. What do you feel is the best length to choose for an auction? Also why do you prefer this amount of time?

    2. Have you had any experience selling an item in the happy hour auction, and how did it turn out for you?

    3. Is it worth it to pay the 2% selling fee on a gallery auction, or should I take advantage of the free format more often?

Thanks for reading, and in advance for your helpful answers ^_^

    1. Ten days, ten relists.

    2. Can't help I'm afraid as I haven't tried it.

    3. Yes definitely, use gallery.

    1. I go for 8 days with 10 relists. It can probably do with some
    revising by then
    2. not tried it, but bought from it
    3. it's easier for the buyer. so I feel it's worth the 2%

For gallery test it out yourself.

Here's an example. I've been loading some magazines today. Do a search on 'Smash Hits' then refine it to magazines (pick the category on the left). You'll see some of my items and some from another seller who hasn't used gallery. Ask yourself which you'd look at first.

    1. I do 11 days so google will pick it up in searches

    2. have noticed happy hour stuff gets more bids

    3. the pic is deff better for those browsing, always use it, plus 2% isn't much compared to the other places fees (repeat fees)

I have a new banner showing, go on click the pic take a look, you know you want to.
And I've finally listed more things!!!

    1. 3-7 days with odd hours & mins
    2. Waste of money IMO
    3. Yes gallery is well worth it, 98%+ of all my sold items are gallery, with my buyers hat on I would not normally look at an auction without a gallery picture
