Poor little Sampson, his designated job is thunder alarm. In other words he draws my attention to the fact that it is thundering, in case I am not aware of it and he usually is before I am since his hearing is better, so I can shut down my puter. He takes his job very seriously and I am alerted whether I am on the computer or not. We had a thunder storm this morning at 6 am. He knew I had to be alerted, he also knows not to bark too loudly if I am sleeping. So I got these muted barks and howls. I am sure he was torn between faithfully executing his duty and not waking me up.
