Liquidating Book Stock...

Hi All! In the next two weeks I'll begin liquidating most of my books in my The Book Rack store.

I plan on pulling those listings which I do not plan on liquidating, and then placing ALL remaining stock at One Dollar Each, irregardless of their actual worth.

Bookselling has been good to me in past years, but it's time to move on to other venues of interest...

I will post the start-date of the liquidation in the Plug Your Auctions section.

Gosh, sorry you won't be selling books any longer (will keep an eye on your shop for the sale though!). What are you going to be selling or doing next?

Hi klj!! Well, I'll still have a few books here and there, but I do plan on changing that store's name eventually. As for what I'll be selling next...my stained glass store has been doing fairly well, and as always my spiritual store has done well. I'm beginning to build up my newest Chic Threads store...that will be a "wait 'n see" effort I'm sure!

It's been hard pulling the prices down to a "buck", especially on those books that would/should fetch anywhere from $25.00 on up...yikes! But the time's they are a'changin with the world recession, etc., so I want to zero in on something different. Heck, who knows, I just might be back in the thick of it in a year or so!!

Well good luck with whatever you do! I sympathise with the bookselling, especially with postage costs (you at least have media mail). But maybe think of it as sharing wonderful books with others?

YES! I've managed to plow through around 100 listings, and will keep working the remainder (200+) this weekend...go have a peek!
