Smile Gucci, Cartier,Vera Wang,Dolce and Gabbana

I would like to pre thank you for looking at my store. I am daily adding to the wonderful fragrance for you to sample.

Yesterday I added over 40 new fragerances that come as testers. They normally ship in a plain brown cardboard box and sometimes without a lid. That way you don't have to pay for all the extra packaging I placed these in the gallery section to add in the reduced price.

These tester are what you might find in a deprtment store on the counter to try. They are brand new never been sprayed and are at least 10 to 25 % off of their fancy boxed. The fastest way to see them is come to my store.

Today for the ladies I have added a scent from the house of Paco Rabine called XS it is a 1.7 oz bottle released in 1994 with a flowery, refreshing fragerance.

For the gentlemen todays listing is from house of Lacoste named Essential cologne in a 4.2 oz bottle. It draws many compliments and is sure to please. Again thanks for looking. Keep checking back as I am always adding to the store.

    Smile Donna Karan & Versace

    Today's Selections of outstanding fragerances

    For the ladies
Cashmere Mist Perfume by Donna Karan, Launched by the design house of Donna Karan in 1994, Cashmere Mist is classified as a refreshing, woody, arid fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of fresh floral jasmine, scents of sandalwood & vanilla.

History and background of Donna Karan :Perhaps most famous for inventing "the body", one of the most practical items of clothing to come out of the Eighties, Donna Karan is now one of the most recognisable names in American fashion.

Born Donna Faske in Forest Hills, NY, in 1948, to a model mother and a haberdasher father, Donna was obsessed with fashion from an early age. After two years at Parsons School of Design, she went to work at Anne Klein, making moderately priced sportswear. In 1971, she became associate designer and, after Klein died in 1974, co-designer with Louis Dell'Olio. Ten years later, and with the support of her husband Steven Weiss, Karan founded Donna Karan New York.

Launched in 1985, her first collection, though not radical, delivered a system of dressing entirely new to those used to Eighties power suits. She combined elements of tailoring with sportswear to ensure clothes were "user-friendly and luxurious", as well as deeply flattering. Her clothes are rarely headline-grabbing, but always easy-to-wear in a luxurious blend of cashmeres and Lycras and a sophisticated palette dominated by blues and blacks. Karan is also regarded as being one of the chief innovators of the bridge line: in 1988, she introduced the cheaper DKNY label in an attempt to dress her daughter, Gaby. Today, Karan's company also produces menswear, jeans, accessories, hosiery, fragrance and cosmetics.

In April 2001, Karan announced that she had sold her company, Donna Karan International, to French luxury conglomerate LVMH for almost $250 million in cash. LVMH had previously acquired Karan's license-holding company, Gabrielle Studio, bringing the total value of the sale to $643 million. Following the news, LVMH decided to relocate this most American of American companies to Italy.

    For the gentlemen
Blue Jeans Cologne by Versace, Launched by the design house of Gianni Versace in 1994, Blue Jeans is classified as a sharp, oriental, woody fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of woodsy, citrus notes. It is recommended for daytime wear.

History and background of Versace :Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on December 2, 1946. After an apprenticeship at his mother's dressmaking business, he began working as a freelance designer. At age 25, Versace was creating prêt-à-porter collections for top fashion houses of the time, including Genny, Complice and Callaghan.

In 1978, with the help of his brother, Santo, he founded the Gianni Versace company. Later that year, the first Gianni Versace collection for women was shown in Milan.

Gianni's bold creative genius consistently challenged the boundaries of the fashion industry. His distinctive cuts, vibrant prints and unconventional materials brilliantly united high art and contemporary culture, and he quickly earned international praise. In 1982 Gianni won the Cutty Sark and Golden Eye (L'Occhio d'Oro) awards for his 1982-1983 Fall/Winter women's collection - in which he presented his famous metal chain-mail dress. Versace also received the Golden Eye in 1984, '90, and '91

. Also in 1982, Versace began work for Teatro della Scala, designing costumes for Veronesi's production of "Josephlegende". Gianni's engagement with the theater sparked a passion that would span his career. He was an ardent patron of the performing and visual arts and an esteemed member of the international artistic community. Versace's spectacular costumes were featured in stage events worldwide, among them Donizetti's "Don Pasquale" (1984) Bob Wilson's "Salome" (1987) and "Doktor Faust" (1989), and several Béjart ballets, including "Dionysos" (1984), "Leda and the Swan" (1987), "Malraux ou la Métamorphose des Dieux" (1986) and "Chaka Zulu" (1989). In 1985 Versace was awarded the "Maschera d'Argento" (Silver Mask) award for his contribution to the theater.

In 1988 the jury of the Cutty Sark Award named Versace "the most innovative and creative designer in the world." In 1993, the Council of Fashion Designers of America awarded the American Fashion Oscar to Versace, and he was honored by the Italian and French presidents.

1994 marked the opening of the Versace flagship boutique in the prestigious Kurfürstendamm, Berlin. In September, the "Versace Signatures" exhibition opened at the Kunstgewerbemuseum.

Also in 1994, Versace published "Designs" the English version of his book, "Vanitas - Ricami e Decori - Decori e Ricami." Collaborating with publisher Leonardo Arte, photographers Richard Avedon, Bruce Weber and others, Versace produced three more highly-acclaimed volumes: "Men Without Ties" (1994), "Do Not Disturb" (1995) and "Rock and Royalty" (1996).

In 1995 the first Versus fashion show was held in New York. That year, Versace sponsored the Haute Couture exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as Richard Avedon's "1944-1994," both of which met with great success.

Gianni Versace died on July 15, 1997 in Miami, Florida.

Smile Paloma Picasso & Karl Lagerfeld

    Todays featured fragerances

    For the ladies

Paloma Picasso Perfume by Paloma Picasso, Created by the design house of Paloma Picasso in 1984, Paloma Picasso is classified as a refined, woody, mossy fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of many florals along with citrus, woods, and green.

History and background of Paloma Picasso :Paloma Picasso has one of the most famous names in modern history. One of the most famous names in the history of art. A name that changed the world. And she wears it well. Because, alongside her enviably individual personal style, and her profound respect for and pride in her father’s work, she is herself one of the world’s most successful jewellery designers. An exclusive Tiffany “name”, and one of the very few jewellery names and talents recognized and acknowledged all over the world.

Paloma Picasso is a woman designing for women. Her instinctively bold and graphic style exudes a rare resonance and power. Uncompromising and unmistakable. The designer has cleverly galvanized her innate sense of form and colour into mesmerizing modern “statement” jewels that have now come to stand for a whole new approach by women to wearing jewels today. “Women are coming up to me now and telling me how they have bought my jewellery for themselves.”

The idea of a talisman, a very powerful concept, lies behind every jewel. A jewel should be intensely personal and private, with a strong emotional depth, a sense of protection, which may come simply from the fact that someone gave it to you, or that you were bought it for yourself, as an achievement. A jewel should make you think of the moments you have lived with it.

    For the gentlemen

Lagerfeld Cologne by Karl Lagerfeld, Launched by the design house of Karl Lagerfeld in 1978, Lagerfeld is classified as a refined, oriental, woody fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of warm spices and tobacco. It is recommended for evening wear.

History and background of Karl Lagerfeld :Born in Hamburg in 1938, Karl Lagerfeld emigrated to Paris at the age of 14. He was to go on to become one of the most celebrated designers this century has seen.

In 1955, at the age of just 17, Lagerfeld was awarded a position at Pierre Balmain, after winning a competition sponsored by the International Wool Secretariat (the coat he had designed for the contest was later put into production by Balmain). In 1958, he left to take up a job with Jean Patou, which gave him an invaluable knowledge of couture but apparently very little pleasure. After just one year, he quit to work as a freelance designer for such fashion houses as Krizia, Charles Jourdan and Valentino. By 1964, he had grown so disillusioned with the world of haute couture that he left Paris altogether to study art in Italy.

In 1967, Lagerfeld returned to fashion, joining Fendi as a design consultant. In the Seventies, however, his name was more closely associated with the house of Chloe, where he was given carte blanche to produce exquisite floaty and feminine ready-to-wear collections which claimed to rival contemporary couture. His 1972 Deco collection, which consisted of black and white prints and clever bias-cutting, brought him worldwide acclaim. He produced his last collection for Chloe - now designed by Phoebe Philo - in 1983 to move to Chanel (though he did return briefly in 1993, to replace outgoing designer Martine Sitbon).

At the same time as taking on the title of director of collections and ready-to-wear at Chanel, Lagerfeld launched his own-name label, now synonymous with strong tailoring, combining easy-to-wear cardigan jackets in his favourite bright colours and softly shaped knitwear to create what he describes as "intellectual sexiness". Meanwhile his designs for the super-chic French fashion house, a fusion of pre-war Chanel and contemporary trends, carried the label to the pinnacle of high fashion in the Eighties and Nineties. Notable moments of his career at Chanel include teaming the traditional box jacket with denim mini skirts in 1991, combining club-influenced black fishnet bodystockings with the traditional Chanel camellia placed cheekily over the breasts and matching hefty lace-up boots with flowing georgette skirts and leather jackets. By 1997, Vogue had crowned him the "unparalleled interpreter of the mood of the moment".

Despite moving from label to label, Lagerfeld has managed to retain a sense of his own style throughout his career. His success lies in an ability to make a bold statement and he is never afraid to try something new. He has also maintained a sense of humour throughout his designing that has produced such legendary pieces as a shower-dress, with beaded water streaming down the front; a car-dress with a radiator grille and fender, and a multitude of outstandingly eccentric hats, from armchairs to cream cakes, translating Chanel trademarks such as the quilted handbag into a range of seasonal must-haves, including the handbag earring, the handbag hat, the doll-sized shoulder bag, the quilted hip bag, the quilted Alice band and the outsize baguette bag.

    Smile Boucheron & Burberry

    Todays highlighted fragerances

    For the ladies
Boucheron Perfume by Boucheron, Launched by the design house of Boucheron in 1988, Boucheron is classified as a refined, oriental, floral fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of citrusy tangerine and bitter orange, florals jasmine and orange flower, sandalwood, amber and vanilla.

History and background of Boucheron :For nearly 150 years, Boucheron has been designing precious gems, jewelry, watches, and perfumes. Steadfast in its commitment to timeless craftsmanship, Boucheron is always in step with the movements of art and fashion.

Since it was founded in 1858, Boucheron has been a pioneer among jewelers: the wrist to engrave diamonds, an innovator of the nature inspired motifs – snake, butterfly or dragonfly – that defined Art Nouvean style, the first to create the wristwatch.

In 1893, Boucheron became the first jeweler to move to the place Vendome at number 26, once the residence of the Comtesse de Castiglione, a famous deductive beauty of the Second Empire.

As fashion and lifestyle evolved through the decades – Cubism, the Russian Ballet, Art Deco, African Art, Pop Art – Boucheron continued to reflect the times.

In the 1920’s, Boucheron brought out dangling earrings inlaid with precious stones and created “White Jewelry” (diamonds set in platinum). They also created many designs for the Maharajah of Patiala and, faithful to their royal clientele, designed crowns and jewels for queens and princesses.

In the late 1940’s and 50’s, Boucheron inspired, with great success, a revival of flower and feather motifs to accompany the “New Look”.

With the passing years, Boucheron designed jewelry and watches for the modern women, to be worn throughout the day and into the evening. He created accessible jewelry, new watch models and launched his perfumes all over the world.

Today nurtured by the Boucheron creative heritage and know-how, a new creative direction is forgiving the next chapter in its enduring legacy. New boutiques are now opening in the main capitals of the world, witness to the new era.

    For the gentlemen

Burberry London (new) Cologne by Burberrys, Launched in 2006 it has an opening of bergamot, lavender, cinnamon leaves, and black pepper. The heart consist of mimosa flower, port wine, and leather notes. At the base it's guaiac wood, oakmoss, opoponax, and tobacco leaf.

History and background of Burberrys :Burberry was founded in 1856 when 21 year old Thomas Burberry, a former apprentice to a country draper, opened an outfitters shop in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Business thrived and by 1870 Burberry became known as an 'emporium' with an increased focus on the development of outdoorwear for local residents and visiting sportsmen who frequented the store.

In 1879, Thomas Burberry invented gabardine - a breathable fabric made using an innovative process whereby the yarn was waterproofed before weaving. This fabric was not only water-resistant but also extremely durable. A patent was taken out in 1888.

In 1891, Thomas Burberry opened his first shop in London at the Haymarket, now the site of Burberry's corporate headquarters.

In 1901, Burberry was commissioned by the War Office to design a new service uniform for British officers.

The Burberry Equestrian Knight logo was developed and registered as a trademark in 1904. This decade also saw the opening of stores in Paris and New York. The Norwegian explorer, Captain Roald Amundsen, was outfitted by Burberry when he became the first man to reach the South Pole on December 14, 1911. Amundsen left a Burberry gabardine tent to inform Captain Scott of his successful mission. After Amundsen reached the South Pole, Ernest Shackleton was determined to be the first explorer to cross the Antarctic continent from coast to coast. He too was outfitted by Burberry in his 1914 expedition.

The Burberry check, registered as a trademark, was introduced as a lining to the trenchcoat in 1924. Soon the red, camel, black and white check became synonymous with Burberry.

Burberry also played an important part in aviation, producing specially designed garments for aviators. A.E.Clouston and Mrs Betsy Kirby Green made the fastest flying time to Cape Town from London in 1937. This air race was won by the pair in a De Havilland DH88 Comet sponsored by Burberry.

During the Second World War, Burberry continued to supply high quality gabardines to servicemen in all branches of the services. Burberry was first awarded the Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen in 1955.

The Burberry check had been primarily used as a coat lining until a presentation in 1967 saw the trademark design applied to umbrellas, luggage and scarves.

In 1970, Burberry opened a New York flagship store at East 57th Street. The 1980s were a period of retail development in the United States. Burberry complemented the New York flagship with store openings in San Francisco; Chicago; Boston; Philadelphia; Washington DC; Troy, Michigan; Manhasset, New York; Short Hills, New Jersey and Costa Mesa, California.

In 1997, a new management team began to revitalise the brand with new design collections, new product ranges and a distinctive new advertising campaign. In February 1999, Burberry staged the first catwalk show for its collections during London Fashion Week and was honoured as a British Classic Design Collection of the year.

The dawn of a new decade re-established Burberry as an icon of enduring style. Burberry was again honoured in 2000 and 2001 by the British Fashion Council in both the Classic and Contemporary design categories.

Burberry Touch, the new fragrance for men and women was launched in 2000.

In September 2000, the Burberry worldwide flagship opened on New Bond Street in London's West End. The design and ambience reflects the new spirit of Burberry, the original luxury brand.

    Smile Bijan & Davidoff

For the selections today I have selected from the houses of Bijan & Davidoff today fragerances.

    For the ladies

Bijan Perfume by Bijan, Launched by the design house of Bijan in 1987, Bijan is classified as a refined, oriental, woody fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of sandalwood, oakmoss, and orange flower.

History and background of Bijan :In 1981, Bijan created the first perfume for men, which was presented in signed and numbered Baccarat crystal flacons. The 6 oz. bottle is now priced at $3,000. In 1987, Bijan Fragrance for Men and Bijan Perfume for Women were introduced and immediately became the top ranking fragrances in all fine stores.

Bijan’s fragrances are presented in an ingeniously designed circular glass flacon with an open center and a dividing web. When half full, the fragrance fills two separate chambers, visually defying the law of gravity that liquid seeks its own level. The box which holds the flacon is constructed without any glued seams and secured with only two cleverly placed interlocks. Its “wrap construction” is patented globally.

Bijan Perfume for Women contains 173 precious ingredients, and the Eau de Parfum contains 157, including ylang-ylang, narcissus and orange flower.

Bijan for Women and Bijan for Men received the highest awards from the Fragrance Foundation individually, immediately following their introductions, and became known as a legend in American excellence.

The Bijan perfume bottle is featured in the permanent exhibit of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Bijan Fragrances were also chosen and presented by the then First Lady to the accompanying spouses of the world leaders who attended the first-ever G-7 Economic Summit meeting.

In 2001 Bijan created a new fragrance collection, Bijan With A Twist, featuring the first ever “interactive” bottle encircled by playfully moveable spirals.

Over 50 foreign companies in different countries distribute Bijan’s fragrances globally.

Mr. Bijan is the only menswear designer in the world to design every element of his clients’ ensembles, suits, shirts, ties, shoes, scarves, jewelry, and watches to briefcases, luggage and, of course, fragrances.

The House of Bijan on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is the one and only “by appointment only” boutique. The amber colored crystal chandelier in the House of Bijan is made from over 1,000 authentic Bijan perfume bottles. The names of some of Mr. Bijan’s well-known clients are permanently engraved on the front window of his Beverly Hills Boutique on Rodeo Drive.

Mr. Bijan is well known for his often controversial and whimsical ads, but most of all for his ingenious fragrances.

    For the gentlemen

Cool Water Cologne by Davidoff, Cool Water is a fresh new approach to men's scents, clean and invigorating. It is fresh and crisp with notes of lavender, menthe, iris and musk. This brisk aroma will certainly invigorate your senses. Wear this fresh, clean scent casually and for a night on the town.

History and background of Davidoff :Zino Davidoff was a man with a sense for essentials, who understood enjoying the moment, and who made this enjoyment a philosophy. Since the beginning of the last century Zino Davidoff's philosophy has been recognized and greatly appreciated. It's the real things in life that make it worth living.

Zino Davidoff had a great sense of humour and a well-developed feeling for the beautiful things in life. An artist; who understood people, and respected them. Who never lost sight of his purpose; to enrich life through enjoying its good things.

Who even as a successful businessman remained true to himself and to his principles. Zino Davidoff believed in simplicity, in the complete enjoyment of life. People who knew Davidoff knew this. They came from all over the world to share his philosophy, to enjoy his finest, purest cigars. They understood what Zino Davidoff meant when he said: "Smoke less, but better and longer - make a cult of it, even a philosophy!"
