Novelty Banknotes (PLEASE READ)

Novelty Banknotes are not permitted for sale on eBid, this is due to some people altering them to make them look like the real notes. Also eBid do not permit them on their site, if you have any listed I must advise you to remove them with immediate effect.

Hi, I have removed my novelty banknotes from the site. There are still people selling them. I Also make novelty credit cards and novelty driving licence's are these allowed to be listed.

Novelty driving licences equate to fake licences and are an offence if caught with one should you come across the right kind of police officer. Some police officers will see the humour though.

I would still say it's an infringement of intellectual property rights in one form or another.

Not sure where the stance is on credit cards though

The auctions running in that cat are US based, so I'd guess that the laws are different there. In the UK these notes are illegal.

I believe they're illegal in the U.S. too. We had one listed, and were advised by PM to remove it, which we did.
