It's just like certain breeds of dog getting a bad name. It's press bias - they're biased towards printing any old garbage that sells more papers.

If it's wrong to judge somebody by the colour of their skin, I think it's wrong to judge somebody by the colour of their football shirt. I'm prepared to judge by somebody's stated views, and by their political alliance (which is just short-hand for stating their views), after that it's just horses for courses.

Mind you, I prefer cricket anyway.
