    Default Stupid Questions maybe

    Hello

Having just found this website i think i may be intresting in selling here (Please buy!) but one question.

Obviously Rep is a big thing on any website like this and i will be staring out with nothing, On another website though (hmmmmm i wonder which one) i believe is known as the darkside i have good rep.

How would it go down if i reffered to that for a little while untill mine got built up here?
Would it get removed and would people get ticked off?

Once you sign up to a selling account you can request that feedback earned elsewhere is imported into your eBid feedback.

See My eBid > My Feedback > Import FB

Hi CrocodilePond, A very warm welcome. No such thing as a stupid
question on these forums, unlike the other side, everybody trys to help their fellow sellers here!

As Damian says you can now import your feedback or if you want to keep the sites seperate you can use a repatoo link on your about me page like this.

When you get settled in put on a signature link so we can all see what you are selling. This thread will help you.

Yes have noticed a distinct lack of customer support on the other side!

Now to persuade her who holds the purse strings!

Hello Croc What will you be selling? In my experience its best to split your selling 50/50 with Thiefbay this way when you sell something on thiefbay then point you customers to Ebid where you can tell them that you can list cheaper (Dont forgot to knock a couple of quid of) Over here. you can do it cheaper because you dont have the fees Thiefbay charge to list everything!!

Mainly selling seasonal goods to begin with (Pools, inflatables, some camping stuff, wetsuits etc etc) but hopefully if it goes well will sell more stuff. Obviously Christmas stuff later in the year!

Plan to continue selling a few bits over there to keep a few competitors off here for a while
