    Default Antiques category change

In an effort to make listing and searching easier I would like to suggest that the category

    Antiques/Decorative/Woodenware

    be eliminated.

    We have a category for

    Antiques/Woodenware

both categories have the same sub-categories (boxes, etc.) so as it stands, it causes buyers to look in two places for the same items, and/or sellers to list in two places for the same items.

    Thank you.

There is a Furniture category in Antiques. There is also woodenware.

Woodenware is - yes, like treen; also bowls, candlesticks, boxes, tea caddies, walking sticks, etc.

My point is we have both woodenware categories and sub-categories under Antiques/DecorativeWoodenware and AntiquesWoodenware.

A quick look at the category might clear it up for you Papa.

While we're at it can we get rid of 'Regency' and 'Regency Revival'. What do they relate to? Does furniture go in the furniture category unless it's early 19th century? It's odd. I wonder why it's there?

Category is definitely needed for Treen.

There is a category for Treen.

    Antiques/Woodenware/Treen

(and also Antiques/Decorative/Woodenware/Treen - hence the problem).

I agree. Paring it down to fewer sub cats is less confusing to buyers (and sellers). i.e. If someone does not know it is called treen, they will look in woodware and never find a whole group of items that are wood.
