Thread: Photo error

  1. #1

    Default Photo error

I have noticed this on a few ocassions.

When I have forgotten to put a URL in for my gallery photo, at the preview stage I get a warning stating:

    List New Auction > Error
An error has occurred, read the details below and make changes to enable us to carry on with your auction posting.

Photo Error Looks like the auction you are starting requires a photo, or the image you have chosen does not exist. Click "choose" to visit your My Gallery area to upload a photo. The warning is great, but there is no "choose" button to visit the gallery, the only other action that can be taken is to click the back button that is within that warning page.

    This then goes to the...

    Saving Your Changes

If you are not redirected within a few seconds then click here

.. thing with the little "something is occuring" animation thing.

After a number of seconds I click the " if you are not redirected..." only to be taken back to the page I have just come from
    i.e.
    List New Auction > Error
An error has occurred, read the details below and make changes to enable us to carry on with your auction posting.

My bad for forgetting to put in a gallery URL, but if there is going to be a warning, can it at least work and store the data in draft form somewhere, in case we need to navigate away from the loop.

This is a pain in the butt because you have lost all the work you have just put into your listing.

Does using the Back button in your browser to navigate backwards to the listing creation screen retain the information you put into the listing fields?
