Absolutely agree with you that the fb we've accumulated through hard work belongs to us and not the site we've used to get it.
However, I still have mixed feelings over importing my previous fb here; I also got another 350+ on another site that's not supported by repatoo. I think it's great for those of us who have a "pre Ebid" career of online selling, but it's a bit of a disadvantage for those who have chosen/come across Ebid as their first experience in online selling.

True, but it benefits us all if it attracts new blood to the happy family.
And it shows what a busy, respectable and honest lot we are.
Unlike Eb'y that have more respect for their Bank balance.
And allow their big sellers to treat their customers with contempt.

Hm, isn't that part of the issue - E**** allows some of their sellers to treat their customers like S**t, cos they know it's gonna fill their pockets.
Whereas Ebid doesn't seem to be putting up with any of that sort of nonsense, provided they are alerted to it!
I pride myself on excellent customer service, whatever site I am on. All my customers are treated in exactly the same way, whether they come via E**y, Ebid, Delcampe, OKbidnow or The Big River
