Are these Books or Magazines?

While I was rooting around I came across 3 issues of
Inferno! Tales of Fantasy & Adventure
published by Games Workshop/Black Library Publications back in the late 90's.


All 3 issues have an ISBN number, Issue 3 has an ISSN number as well. I'm not sure if they should be classed as Magazines, or books, or possibly even graphic novels as they do have some comic type content as well.

Any ideas what category I should list them under?

I've always seen it clssed as a magazine. But some people list these under gaming as well.

Thanks, I was going to list them as magazines & in my magazine store but seeing the ISBN threw me, as I though mags didn't have them.

The only one I found on feebay was listed under books non fiction other.

Mags normally have ISSN and books ISBN.

ISSN and ISBN codes are similar in concept, where ISBNs are assigned to individual books. For particular issues of a periodical an ISBN might be assigned in addition to the ISSN code for the periodical as a whole. Unlike the ISBN code, an ISSN is an anonymous identifier associated with a periodical title, containing no information as to the publisher or its location. For this reason, a new ISSN is assigned to a periodical each time it undergoes a major title change.
