Unable to add information to auction with bids

Using Edit/Close auction I tried to add some information to the listing in this section:

I made no other changes, clicked on the 'Save Changes' button and received this error:

I've tried using various editors and different browsers (Firefox and Google Chrome) but the error message persists...
