Anyone having trouble editing?.

Hi

Anyone having trouble editing.
I am having my listings pushed to the left after editing.
Big space on the description area.
Text jumping up & down out of place.

Messed up numerous listings, losing the will to bother anymore.

Which editor are you using?

Have you an active listing that is wrong we can take a look at? Auction id number if you have.

I have tried using the Advanced & the Beta Wsyg Editor.
I am going to try something, risk being slapped stupid for repeat listings.
Be back with the auction numbers once I have done it.

I have listed the same item 3 times from my unsold.
1st was posted directly from unsold, no editing done.

2nd was using Advanced.
Deleted a shop link.
Template gone to the left.

Same problem today - admin fixed it for me. They do know what is going on and are working to make the editors work for all systems. Guess it's just a struggle.

Did someone report my listing I did as a test?.

Emailed the support guys giving the auction numbers so they could see what was happening, now one of them is gone.

Sorry. Went away for my Star Trek fix and by the time I got back only one of your listings were left available to look at.

The only thing I could see different to one of your currently running listings is that the table containing the description was changed from a floating width of 98% of screen width to a fixed width of 614 pixels. 614 pixels was, I believe, the old width of the description field before it was increased to a width of 914 pixels

As the eBid container for the description is left aligned that makes your description appear squashed to the left.

Who or what changed the table width I don't know. I must assume the editor if it was OK before and you didn't touch it. If you have the skills to reset the table width to either 98% or 914 pixels then it should look right (as long as the editor leaves it alone). Works OK offline for me here but that does not replicate what will happen when you do it online.
