Works OK in IE. Must be an issue between eBid and Firefox.

I know from the little page coding I do that trying to get a page to look the same in both IE and Firefox is one hell of a job. I have been driven to screaming at the screen on many occasions when having fixed something in one it is broken in the other. You then enter a vicious circle.

Maybe not but around 75% of people do, so you have to acknowledge that when creating pages.

Yes, I've seen it do that, and definitely commented on it. Don't think I actually reported it to support though, now I think about it.

It only seems to be happening with popular auctions, new auctions, & closing auctions on the homepage if you use firefox.

IE6, Safari & Google Chrome do not show the problem.

Usually it's IE6 that shows this sort of error.

As I said earlier... If you fix something so that it works in one browser you stand a good chance of breaking it in the other.

I really would not like to have to keep a site as complex as eBid working across platforms.
