Hits/Clicks - Accurate ???

There was a problem with the hits counter on listings - not giving an accurate indictation of visitors.

Because I try and use this as a tool of sorts to try and gauge what buyers are doing or what their buying habits are - does anybody know if that glitch has been fixed ???

Not the end of the world - but because there are too few buyers - difficult to know if the numbers are working or not.

No - as far as I know, it has NOT been fixed, despite loads of posts on here.

VERY frustrating for folks like you and me who like to gauge popularity of items, and also, I think it definitely makes the site look as if nobody every comes here!!

I wonder if some of these non 'mission critical' problems are going unfixed because of the major revamp of the site due soon? Maybe the work involved in fixing it now would be negated by the update so would not be productive to carry out.

I did say quite some time ago it would be nice to have a list of problems that eBid were aware of and estimated time to a fix.

I was going to post this, also, but since it is already here I will just add to it.

I, too, would like to see the counter fixed. I would also like to be able to see how many "watchers" we have.

I am new here and I still sell on eBay. I periodically go into my eBay account and see how many views and how many watchers I have. Then I can decide whether to keep or delete an auction. Since we also do flea markets and craft shows, I pull the ones with no hits and sell them elsewhere. I don't like "dead" items hanging around in my auction stores.

It would help if someone from eBid would let us know what is going on. It's almost like they took my money for my subscription, but now they won't talk to us and let us know what's happening.

Please, eBid. Are you listening to us?

I had just bobbed into the forums to see if this issue was being discussed... I'm glad I am not the only having problems - my viewing hits seem to come and go as they please, or just jump up to 7500 for no reason at all
