Excellent showroom view

Hi Guys, the Showroom option is excellent on searches, thank you very much (that's another thing evilbay doesn't have).
My only concern is, will buyers notice the option, I do hope so, it makes searching so much easier/clearer. I'm going back for another look

It doesn't show the time remaining, though from a presentational viewpoint it certainly looks attractive. Why not give it a run with this as the default view and see if here is any improvement in activity. That would be the defining criteria I think.

Oh yes, you definitely have my vote for showroom as the default.
Don't know if everyone would agree with me although I can't think of any products that would not look better in showroom mode and presumably the other options would still be there if people didn't like it for any reason.

A picture is worth a thousand words (or so they say). The Showroom view does that and will achieve the 'instant attraction' that will tempt buyers to look deeper into a listings. All the extra stuff such as bids, views, postage, etc. can wait until the potential buyer has show interest in the item.

The Showroom view also gives an added view enhancement to those who pay for a featured listing.

Yes from me too, like ByKimbo if possible I'd like to be able to still see the postage.

While I think of it a way to differentiate between items with bids on,
before we get yet another poll about bid visibility.

I disagree with you there (there has to be a first time for everything). The current layout looks fresh and clean. I think once you start cluttering it up with extra info then you would spoil that look and really end up with just a reformatted Gallery layout.

Postage is not something I factor in when initially choosing to look at a listing from search results. The picture and price are the main draw with postage only entering the equation once I have decided 'Yes. I would like that'. I look at postage, terms, etc. once I have decided I would and then add '... but do I want to buy from this particular seller?'
